About The Troupe

Sanam Studios Dancers is the first and only Pakistani folk dance troupe in North America. Their repertoire covers all provinces of Pakistan and beyond: Bollywood, Middle Eastern, Afghani, Persian, Turkish Romani, and African dances. Based in Atlanta, they are a multicultural group led by choreographer and artistic director, Sanam Azeem.

Sanam Studios Dancers perform internationally at corporate galas, fundraisers, consulates, weddings, universities, festivals, and cultural events. They strive to represent the culture and history of each dance with authentic costumes and graceful movements that make each culture proud to be represented.

Their performance on social media to the famous Sindhi song, ‘Mor Tho Tillay Rana’ went viral after they performed it at a festival in Atlanta and continues to be shared and circulated on social media today. They have been featured on international channels like SAMAA TV and GeoTV; performed for diplomats worldwide; and danced alongside Pakistani artists, like Humera Channa, Ali Haider, Faakhir Mehmood, and Salman Paras.
