Balochi Dance comes from the southwestern province of Balochistan, in Pakistan. It’s an energetic blend of graceful hand and body movements paired with high energy, medium to fast-paced steps, danced to irresistible music and beats.
This workshop will cover background and origins of Balochi dance, followed by step-by-step movements, easy to learn for any level of dancer. This workshop is perfect for those interested in adding to their collection of worldly dances, professional performers, those new to dance, students, history buffs, or anyone interested in learning more about various styles of dances from Pakistan.
Workshop available in-person and virtually via Zoom.
Authentic Balochi costumes will be available for purchase.
